"Time Vortex" is what we used to call a 'showcase' sound, a patch we'd put in the presets to show off the capability and versatility of the synthesis engine with an on-board demo sequence. Though a 'showcase' sound may have a specialized application as a demo sound, its other purpose is to be an example for learning unique or unusual programing tricks. Anyway, this is a 'split' sound with a repeating triplet-eighth note synth bass in the left hand, and a mellow FM sawtooth timbre in the right hand.
