Example of true analog Pulse Width Modulation modeling using FM synthesis on the Yamaha SY99. Waveform starts as a square wave (50% pulse), and slowly modulates to a thin, narrow pulse wave (about 10% pulse width). Uses looped envelopes for the slow 'LFO' PWM effect so that the Mod Wheel can be used for LFO vibrato. Uses no filters. Melody is excerpt for the "In Search Of" TV show theme. (NOTE - there are a few audio encoding glitches from the upload conversion, sorry !)
